Details: The four-course meal includes paired wines and the following dishes: Oysters on the Half Shell; She-Crab Soup and Sourdough Bread; N’awlins Shrimp; Tenderloin Medallion with Crab Cake, Green Beans and Garlic Mashed Potatoes; and Chocolate Cake
 
 
What: Irish Fest at The Market Common
When: 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, March 13
How much: No admission fee; $1 tickets will be sold to use to purchase food, beverages and souvenirs
Where: Valor Park at The Market Common, Farrow Parkway between U.S. 17 Bypass and U.S. 17 Business, Myrtle Beach
Details: The Irish-theme festival will feature live Irish music, Irish food and 20 Irish beers. Free children's activities include a facepainter, balloon artist and inflatable rides. 
 
 
What: St. Patrick's Day celebration at New York Prime
When: 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 17

Details: Complimentary party favors, traditional Irish music, complimentary Oysters Rockefeller and Oysters on the Half Shell, $1 Oyster Shooters, $3.95 Bloody Mary Bar, $5.95 Potato Vodka Martinis, and other drink specials.
 
 
What: Third Annual Taste of the Coast
When: 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, March 20
How much: Prices vary for food samples and rides; admission is $1 or 1 can of food
Where: Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach
Details: This event is a fund-raiser for Risen Christ Lutheran School and a food drive for North Strand Helping Hand. The day includes rides, live entertainment and fine cuisine from area restaurants.
 
 
What: Brewer's Dinner at Gordon Biersch
When: 6 p.m., Thursday, March 25
How much: $30 plus tax and tip
Where: Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Howard Parkway, The Market Common, Myrtle Beach, (843) 839-0249
Details: The dinner includes a Lobster and Jumbo Lump Crab appetizers, Caesar Salad, Grilled Mahi, Ginger and Soy Marinated Bistro Filet with Tempura Shrimp, and Askinosie Organic ice cream; all courses are paired with beers.
 
 
What: Beer Fest at The Market Common
When: 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 26 and noon-7 p.m. Saturday, March 27
How much: $1 tickets are redeemable for food, beer, sampling mugs, T-shirts and more
Where: The Market Common, Farrow Parkway, Myrtle Beach, (843) 839-3500
Details: Most 4 oz. samples will be 1 – 2 tickets. Higher end beers will be 3 – 6 tickets. Beer samplers will need to purchase a Beer Fest styrene sampling mug for 2 tickets or a Beer Fest glass sampling mug for 3 tickets.  In addition to the sampling stations, a bar will be set up for participants who want a full beer instead of beer samples. Tickets are available in advance at Piggly Wiggly at The Market Common and customers may redeem Greenbax points for tickets. What: Grand Opening of Big Ass Sandwich Co. & Saloon
When: Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28
How much: Many free events and giveaways, including free food

Details: There will be a sandwich-eating contest among local deejays; logo item and food giveaways and several live bands
 
 
What: Fourth Annual Tastes at Pawleys
When: Sunday, April 25, 4-8 p.m.
How much: $4 admission tickets if purchased in advance; $5 at the door; food items are $1-$3.
Where: Precious Blood of Christ Church, 1633 Waverly Rd., Pawleys Island
Details: Some 20 restaurants participate, and you can also buy door prize tickets. This is a fund-raiser for church charities.
 
 
What: Taste! Gourmet Food Show and Exposition
When: May 14-16, 2010
How much: Various events have different prices

Details: Events include: Coastal Uncorked poster competition; Restaurant Week with $20.10 three-course tasting menus; Chef Comeptition and Gala; Cooking with Kids; Beer and Wine tastings with trolley service; live music concerts; Golf Tournament with food and/or alcoholic beverages at every other hole, to be held at Pine Lakes Country Club; cake competition.
