Bagel Factory III Made Short Move

News - Latest

Now on the corner

By Becky Billingsley

Monday, February 1, 2010, Myrtle Beach – A short move of two storefronts has gained Bagel Factory III improved visibility.

Bagel Factory III has hearty early dining specials for economical prices. The restaurant is in the Galleria shopping center at the throat of Restaurant Row in Myrtle Beach, where U.S. 17 Bypass and U.S. 17 Business merge by Lake Arrowhead Road. It used to be tucked back a few doors down from Rossi’s Italian Restaurant, but in December owners Reuben Luster and Joe Donolowitz had the operation moved a couple doors down to the corner unit previously occupied by Sweet Daddy’s, which closed in the fall of 2009.

Now Bagel Factory III has a stronger street appeal, and diners are responding to posted specials. Area residents are especially enjoying an early dining special available 3:30-6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays when the chef offers two dinner specials, each for less than $10. For example, on Friday you could get Chicken Parmesan over angel hair pasta with a piece of garlic bread for $8; or Corned Beef and Cabbage with potatoes and a vegetable for $7.

But of course you can also get freshly baked bagels, egg platters, omelets, breakfast wraps, pancakes, French toast and breakfast sandwiches. If you are seeking a light breakfast, there is a special omelet made with egg whites, tomatoes and onions.

Lunch and dinner choices include tuna salad, chicken salad, seafood salad, deli sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, soups and house specialties such as a Classic Reuben for $7.49, or a Chicken and Mushroom Quesadilla for $7.09.

Bagel Factory III is on the corner between Kroger & Rossi’s at The Galleria. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The number is (843) 839-2394.
