My family loves going to Amici’s at the height of tourist season and getting a table by the window. The eatery is on the second floor of a building at Cricket Cove Marina and has indoor and outdoor seating. It’s open for lunch and dinner – they have daily specials during both meals – and the menu offers a variety of dishes. The Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad is great, and you can have a Top Sirloin or Ribeye steak topped with gorgonzola butter, tomato-basil butter, or lemon-herb butter. In the seafood department there are Grilled Grouper, Tomato-basil Salmon, Tuna Steak, Mahi-Mahi, Grilled Shrimp and a Fried Shrimp Platter. This waterfront restaurant in Murrells Inlet has casual fine dining specializing in wood-fired grilled items, including locally caught seafood, and brick oven-baked gourmet pizzas. The view is spectacular, and the kitschy Southwestern décor, such as saddle bar stools, is stylish and fun. Bovine’s does not use any oils containing trans fats.
Bubba’s is a fun place for couples, large families or other groups. Great seafood and sandwiches are presented in a casual atmosphere.

Minnesota’s loss was the north end of the Grand Strand’s gain when Kris and Terry Veigel moved here to open Cakes by the Sea a year ago.The couple has been bakers for more than three decades.They strive for cakes that look fabulous, taste even better and are priced economically.Their cakes and cupcakes are dense and moist, and can come filled with flavored whipped toppings and topped with either whipped or butter cream icings.Recently they were awarded the Small Business of the Year award from the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of the oldest restaurants on Myrtle Beach’s famed Restaurant Row. Prime rib is the specialty of the house, but you can also get exceptional seafood, poultry and salads. Many vintage pieces from other Grand Strand landmarks have been incorporated in the décor. They’re open for dinner and closed on Sundays.
The old Dave’s was torn down to make way for this new upscale waterfront haven. A high-tech grill allows for superbly cooked meats and succulent sushi-grade seafood. Southern Living magazine recommended the bacon-wrapped scallops. The inlet view and atmosphere are outstanding. A brunch buffet is now being served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays. The price is $16.95 for ages 12 and older and $8.95 ages 11 and younger.
You can choose Seafood Gumbo, Garlic Shrimp, Blackened Scallops, Calamari with Homemade Marinara or a Jumbo Lump Crabcake. Or maybe you’d like a Haddock Sandwich, Maine Lobster Roll or Ipswich Whole-Belly Clam Roll.
